SURFCROP ® AEFA - 1100L

SURFCROP ® AE Series, nonionic Surfactants in nature, are produced by reacting ethylene oxide with alcohols. The lower alcohols react to produce glycol ethers, commonly used as solvents, while the longer chain of fatty alcohols are produced as fatty alcohol ethoxylates. The reaction occurs by passing ethylene oxide through the alcohol at high temperatures and pressure.

Applications:

SURFCROP ® AE Series are a group of high-performance surfactants with low toxicity, great emulsification, dispersion, wetting and compatibilizing properties. They are very effective emulsifiers and are based on mixed hydrophobes, showing good emulsification control over a scattered range of HLB. These surfactants are relatively stable in alkaline and acidic media and can replace other nonionic surfactants in agrochemical formulations.
